Forthcoming Events 2009-2010

At CanSupport we organize a number of events each year to create awareness about our work in the field of palliative care and to raise much needed funds for our free services.

While October is the month for joining hands with hospice and palliative care services worldwide to commemorate World Hospice & Palliative Care day; November is the month when we get together with the families whose loved ones we have looked after under our home care programme to light a diya in their memory and remember them.

Our ‘Walk for Life: Stride Against Cancer’ event has become an annual and much awaited feature of the Delhi calendar. It is an occasion for people from all walks of life, including those whose lives have been touched by cancer, to celebrate the triumph of the spirit and express their solidarity with those at the forefront of the global fight against cancer. It is also an opportunity for CanSupport to raise funds for its free and much appreciated services.

Festivals such as Holi, Dussehra, Diwali and Christmas also become occasions to instill hope and celebrate life with patients attending our daycare.
