The WALK FOR LIFE 2009 took place on Sunday, 15th February 2009 starting at 9 am as scheduled. This is the second time the WALK was organised, the first being WALK FOR LIFE 2008.(Click here to see a pictorial report)
The purpose of the WALK FOR LIFEis to get ordinary people from all sections of society to express their solidarity with those facing the growing scourge of cancer in our country by joining the walk and contributing towards the work of CanSupport.
CanSupport would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who joined the event and helped make it a great success. Thanks also to all our sponsors, special guests and volunteers. The weather could not have been better and a wonderful time was had by all.
Media coverage of the event contributes to raising awareness of people all over the country about the growing challenge of cancer.
