The first port of call at CanSupport is usually the Telephone Helpline.
This is where callers can get information about our services and about cancer-related facilities in and around Delhi. A directory is maintained for referrals to blood banks, hospitals and doctors, financial aid, travel concessions, prostheses, etc.
Our helpline assistants are specially trained to listen, and are able to offer confidential emotional support to people struggling with cancer. Patients and caregivers alike can unburden themselves by freely expressing their feelings and sharing worries that they can’t share with those around them.
The telephone helpline staff provide referrals to all CanSupport services. Those who need home care are registered for this free service when they call. Those who wish to attend the monthly Peer Support Group meeting can also phone in to get more details.
The CanSupport Helpline operates Monday to Friday, from 9.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m. (Indian Standard Time). The number to call is +91 11 26711212
