At CanSupport, we care for people with cancer and their families     in and around Delhi
What We Do
CanSupport provides palliative care to patients with cancer. As most people prefer the comfort of their home when their cancer advances we send teams of doctors nurses and counselors to their homes in and around New Delhi to provide the care and support that they need. Our teams have been recognized internationally for the quality of their care, and because of the support of our donors, all our services are provided free of charge. Patients and their families also have access to a help-
line, subsidized supportive medication and equipment, daycare, counseling services, training for family members in basic nursing skills, peer support, patient navigation services and other resources.

Why We Do It
The trauma of cancer can be devastating for the patient and the family. CanSupport was founded by Harmala Gupta, a cancer survivor, who realized that people have no where to turn for support once cancer treatments fail. They need informed and compassionate medical, nursing and emotional care. This care is known as “hospice” or “palliative care” and CanSupport has pioneered this care in North India since 1997.

What You Can Do
Have you ever wanted to help some one battling a dreaded disease but didn’t know how? If you want to make a difference, there is plenty you can do. You can make a donation or become a volunteer or friend of CanSupport. You can help to organize events, lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those who attend our day care, or use your time and skills to raise funds and awareness of our services.
