How can I donate to CanSupport?

You can donate to CanSupport

Will I receive tax exemptions on my donations?

If you are an Indian citizen, yes! Read up all about the kinds of tax exemptions available to you, based on your donation kind here. Unfortunately, no tax exemption options are available for non-Indian citizens.

I am an NRI, PIO or hold an OCI. Am I an Indian citizen?

You are an Indian citizen if you are an NRI (Non-Resident Indian). You are a non-Indian citizen if you are a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) or hold an OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India).

Which currencies can I use, to donate?

You may use any currency to donate at CanSupport. Please note, when donating online, please enter the converted value of your donation in Indian Rupees (INR).

What documents will I need to provide?

To avail of tax exemptions, Indian citizens are required by law to provide their PAN number. Non-Indian citizens are required to provide their passport number, a copy of the first two and last two pages of their passport and a declaration of foreign currency.

Will I get a receipt for my donation?

Yes. A receipt will be issued to you 21 days from the date of realisation of your donation in our accounts. Your patience will be highly appreciated for the same.

What is NACH?

National Automated Clearing House or NACH is a process by which your bank automates regular payments to any party sanctioned by you. CanSupport is eligible to receive NACH payments from its donors.

Regular donations to CanSupport is most effective way to support us, as it reduces administration and allows us to plan ahead.

NACH is available only to Indian citizens.
