CanSupport – 2020 Review

CanSupportNews

2020 has been a year of great challenge. While tough times don’t last, tough people do!

Despite all the challenges that the pandemic brought, CanSupport continued working towards creating a caring and supportive society where people with cancer and their families live with dignity, hope and comfort. We stood tall and brave to follow our mission to enable these people to make informed choices while receiving appropriate physical, emotional, social and spiritual support. After all, we all deserve to live a life of dignity and happiness!

A Heartfelt Gratitude

Ever since 1996, we have been caring for cancer patients unconditionally and this year was no different. The pandemic could in no way dim the light that shone from within our teams. As the year comes to a close, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our team of doctors, nurses, trainers, counselors, social workers, administrators, drivers, and housekeepers who made this all happen.

Paving the Way for Positivity

We pledge to spread as much positivity and hope as we can. We believe that hope is stronger than fear, and we continue to help all those who need us at any point of time. The key services provided by us include home-based palliative care, outpatient clinics that enable palliative care to complement curative cancer therapies early in the disease for improved outcomes, day care, counselling, and peer support.

A Vibrant Future Ahead

We at CanSupport envision a bright future ahead as we plan to broaden our horizons in the years to come. Our volunteers and supporters have helped us become much stronger and we are sure that our services will help ease the suffering of many and make this world a better place to live in.

We hope and pray that 2021 brings health, joy and prosperity in your life. Stay positive and stay safe!
